   We have taken early delivery on new equipment that will increase our productivity.  In the days and weeks ahead, keep watch on this sites "Home Page" as  we add new products and services and "probably" are able to offer reduced prices.  We need a month or two to figure our operating costs but with fuels costs coming down, we will remember basic physics...   what goes up... must come down...we hope

    Time is quickly arriving for the very big changes to the wood lot.  Much of the wood is now stored in areas that you do not see  AND we will not have as much wood this year as last.   ALSO... A PRICE INCREASE ON OCTOBER 10th was necessary mostly because of labor costs and fuel prices.  FIREWOOD (per BTU) WILL STILL BE MORE THAN 15% CHEAPER THAN PROPANE and about the same cost as 'new' heat pump electric.

Construction has begun at the west side of the lot on a building to house the new and expanded business on this location.  A 2 story building will support our expanded internet business and the NEW    River Road Market, a quality full service convenience store.  Firewood will still be available on site in a somewhat smaller lot.
